"AKINGSNY, the brightest raw denim brand kicked off the start of the biggest fashion events in the world, the New York Fashion Week, with pop-up shop in downtown SoHo featuring the launch of their Fall/Winter 2018 collection. Founded by Alan King, (Alan Cheung) the 21 year old entrepreneur was full of energy at the event welcoming guests warmly with open arms. The New York-based men's lifestyle brand, collaborated with Khoman Room, to arrange the Pop-up event at NYFW curated by The House of the Creative.
Known for avant-garde textile cuts and J-shaped denim silhouettes, the AKINGSNY was equally bold with their pop-up shop arrangement, transforming the 393 Broadway venue into a walk through gallery, with exclusive jeans washes hanging on black monochrome chains beckoning in passerby and fans of the brand alike. Guests were treated to complimentary drinks powered by Matcha Bar and Essentia Water?, creating the perfect ambiance for casual networking and photos with, founder, Alan King and public figures including Double X, Chis Lavish, Frank Have Mercy, and David Weeks. Each guest left the venue with Fanola ?hair product gift bags.

The event is held biannually and presents the perfect opportunity for smaller and upcoming brands to benefit from the buzz created this amazing fashion event. The selection of products that were a part of AKINGSNY's pop-up shop included their signature J-shaped denim in their exclusive denim washes; Faux Fur outerwear, .925 oxidized silver rings, Crocodile embossed leather totes and calf leather duffle bags were also a part of the event because they carry the avant-garde-cut denim brand's evolution towards working on distinct textiles.
